Although this is not a depiction of the actual elephant called Tim, I was inspired to paint long tusks based on him. Tim was one of Kenya’s last big tuskers. // Big tuskers are so rare that they are known by name. // Tremendous efforts are made to protect them from poachers. This is my tribute to those dedicated people.
